Margot is my cousin. She lives in upstate New York and I probably don’t see her and her family enough. So when she asked me to photograph her wedding I jumped at the opportunity. Working this event not only allowed me to do what I love in an amazing setting but also provided the opportunity to connect with Margot and her folks. At the end of the day I left with what I knew were stellar images. But equally important was the revived connection with a side of the family I now resolve to spend more time with.
